Notice the great interplay between the elements of nature– the curvature of space through the dimensions of liquid water, and the fish aware of its viewer.
This painting is a representation of a largely obscure universe, called the Ocean. The almost blurred-out nature of the scene depicts the view we humans have on the great ponds known to harbor life. A humble reminder of our ignorance to the many worlds and personalities that exists within the great cosmic ocean.
